this is retard ... you need a dedicated power box to power the cameras .... imagine having 8 or 16 cameras to power ... you not going to be able to plug those into the wall and it's retarded to try an plug them into a powerstrip.

@FarmMachinist LOL your so right,, its not that easy,...What about the mounting, configuration and setting up the IP addres if you want to view it via IP. not to mention most of the DVR's on the market are made in china and come with shitty instruction manuals. Be careful people do your research!
