I never give homeless people money, sometimes I deliberately open my wallet full of notes and coins of various denominations, then after looking through it carefully, slam it shut and say "Nah, sorry", and go back to eating my pasty.
And why? Because I am an awful bastard.

He might have spent it on drugs or booze... or he might have bought food, or paid for a place to sleep that night. You never know. Unfortunately, there's no getting around the fact that many homeless people have drug/ booze addictions. I've given homeless people a tenner on occasion though. Usually been drunk and stumbling around London when I've done it, but it still felt great to redistribute some wealth.

@Auron710 But the distribution of money is all wrong anyway.

@rundle19938 Totally with Andy 100% on this one! The homeless bum, who seems articulate, witty, and capable of getting himself an actual job, sits like a lazy, lifeless piece of sh**, as Andy's out there going after a dream, all of his personal issues aside, sure. He expects the rich man to just throw undeserved money at him, and doesn't even thank him when Andy actually gives him the 20 pound note. That's what Iove about this scene...it really captures the true nature of most homeless people.

@rundle19938 they tackled the whole "i cant really say no cus im famous and then itl look bad in media" thing on extras. Realistically fame doesnt mean they are more or less obliged than anyone to give away money. Your money is your money ^^
