we don't know what to say of tosh. jamaicans interpretation of ethiopia language carries a bit of misunderstanding. if you should ten rasta what the word means you would mostly get different answer. it is not so simple.

correction!!peter tosh said the prefix ras means head and the suffix tafari means creator when you put them together it means head creator.any way lets keep it simple.one love.xxx

this is the true rasta consciousness which is peace and love,surely not violence no matter what the excuse.the mystic revelation of rasta fari which means head of creation say they still come in love and peace so please listen up!!

The best in reggae harmony and perhaps the most denoting of rasta spirituality. However many Rastas discount Haile Selasie's own confession that he was not God, that he in fact was a Christian of Ethiopian Orthodox roots! Bob Marley also converted to this branch of Christianity at the time before his death from cancer, he died a Chrisitan. There was even references of him cutting his dreads, but its a decision not a requirement. Look at his biographies.
