To those of you who were at BC Place: how was the sound quality? Was there a good sound system installed for the musical acts of the Closing Ceremony, or was everything fed through the standard PA system there? It is hard to tell in this video.

@SwooshParker not true. My french teacher introduced her music to my class in grade 9. But yeah, I agree with you. French isn't very present in Canada, but especially out here on the west coast. Out of the entire song, most people in Vancouver understand only "moi" and "imaginaire". Maybe I'm not one to talk, since I only started studying french beyond "je veut aller à la salle de bain" in grade 6.

You are obviously not educated in the same ways as I am if you think Canadians all over both care about French or appreciate it because of the money spent on the duplication of files in French. I don't care but some are very passionate about their hatred. It is also naive of you if you think French is seriously implemented outside of Quebec. Go to an English school and you will see what our French classes consist of. It's sad.
