But I do love this video, ahaha.

I used to write the same way when I first started to enjoy writing, but came to the conclusion that less is often more. I really like your writing, and I think you have the potential to really make it effective, so I just wanted to point out my observation.
-
Also, I wanted to mention one thing about your writing. It's obvious that you are a talented writer and have an exceptional vocabulary, but I feel like the over-extravagant use of words actually often takes away from the point you are trying to make. I feel that if you toned down the 'purple prose' as they call it, your writing would be able to carry some momentum and really drive home a point, rather than taking the reader through a maze of syllables and having them potentially get lost.

I get your point.
My main problem with stupidity is not that it exists, but that it is so destructive. If stupid people were not causing so many issues and creating problems I would probably just ignore it.
Anyway, thanks for watching!

Well people are people, you can't really change them. So wishing they were different and getting frustrated about it is a waste of time.
You, however, are a good, intelligent person. So just be proud of that and make sure *you* do well in life. Don't be constantly distracted by how annoying other people are. Just forget about them and concentrate on yourself. I think you could channel your energy into becoming a journalist or a teacher, or something like that.
Ignorance may be blinding, but so is an overbearing ego. I'm not saying I don't completely and whole-heartedly agree with your observations, but you've got to see what you see from a neutral, non-egoic point of view, in order to truly understand it.
read 'New Earth,' for example, or like a million other books that follow the same premise. Might give you a new perspective on things, which never hurts!
Keep up the videos though!

Well, first off, thank you very much!
Secondly, I apologize if I came across as arrogant, I really did not intend to convey that. At the time of the video, I was an angry fellow, and was prone to elitist feelings of superiority.
I still retain the same beliefs, in regards to the majority of my generation being intellectually handicapped because of a media-centered upbringing.

However, with that said, I also have met quite a few individuals my age who are very intelligent, and after attending a political conference with a bunch of other politically active individuals from the state, it seems to that my perspective was skewed with anger and, yes, ego. It seems that my perspective was blurred with the handicap of my locale.
Thanks for watching! I'll work on that pompousness.
