Featuring preserved ex Bord na Mona steam and diesel traction of 3ft narrow gauge.

  • This is a real steam locomotive, right? Not some imitation. So where the hell doest it store the coal? No tender, nothing, no coal visible anywhere.

  • @jardabc Yes it is a real steam locomotive! The coal (not huge volume) is stored within the cab. You can read more about the loco via the links provided in the video details.

  • WD40? Lol. My son loves this but the squeaking is a bit loud.

  • @jardabc Coal is stored in small bunkers in front of the driver and fireman each side of the firebox like most Andrew Barclays . Its done like that because their is very little room in the cab, certainly not enough to swing a shovel from a tender or bunker at the rear of the engine. I should know. Thats me driving at 5:02 . You can see the bunker from that angle.
