I've heard a lot of people saying that this band was better five years ago, but I think Lisa Lambe is right up there with Meav in voice quality, plus (as this video shows), she's a lot more enjoyable to watch sing at their concerts. Celtic Woman is as good as it ever has been.

Lisa Lambe is not only beautiful, she is talented and the best thing that has happened to Celtic Woman...I've always liked them but now I do more than ever. As far as her voice goes, this is my favorite song i've heard her sing. Love, love , love this!

After reading comments here, I found out about Celtic Thunder. I really didn't like their version of this song. I prefer the music style and the voice that matches it in Celtic Woman. Sure, some may like Thunder better, but she seems to throw around a bit more personality and... soul? to it than Thunder does. Or well, it just feels that way to me. But if you like Thunder, don't let me stop you from enjoying them!

@todd76705 no it's not. Celtic Thunder, a guy version of Celtic Woman, alos sing this song. It's a traditional Celtic song, so she is just living up to the band's name: CELTIC Woman.

I love the version of this song, but I love Ryan Kelly's version the most. Probably because it was the first one I heard. He also has such a powerful voice, but don't get me wrong! I love Celtic Woman and I have all of their cd's! Along with The High Kings, Celtic Thunder, Foster and Allen, Dougie MacLean, The Corries, and any other Gaelic music you can think of!

This version is being true to the original lyrics. Would you change a poem just because you are of the same gender? Lisa is performing it as a true deliverer of the lyrics and story. Its totally irrelevant that she sings it about a woman. Its a stunning rendition too, my favourite Celtic Woman
