@nswgb69 Nope, the car works perfect so no need for changes this winter :) The owner just took it out of winter storage and we are going to sweeden in about two weeks for a trackday. How about your car?

My car is great apart from a broken 280 gearbox :( First motion shaft & gear need changing. Getrag don't sell the parts anymore so I have bought another 280. This one is getting an oil cooler. The broken box is getting a custom built motion shaft & gear set with wider spaceing. This will make it stonger. Also having an oil feed directed at the first motion shaft to keep it cool. Together with an oil cooler it should be bullet proof!!! Thats the plan anyway.

The front suspension suits well. To get the KW set you need to send some old struts they build on. These were ordered to a 525 because the e34 M5 is much heavier than the ribbed e28, but then the springs where replaced later. It works well now and I will order the same for my trackday E28 I’m building at the moment :) Do you got Intrax coilovers? Got a link?

The cover is bolt-on to the small e28 diff and just he made a bracket that bolts into the original mounting holes on the car.

Pure class! :) Brilliant. I had fitted E34 M5 front legs to my 28 but removed them soon after because the ABS was a different type plus it raised the car up about 3 inches. Does the KW V2 come with complete front legs? I'm using Intrax now.

Some serious modding must have gone on to fit the Z3 M diff or cover?

@nswgb69 The suspension is KW V2 for e34 with stiffer springs wich i think got ClubSport specs. The rear struts are raised 10cm because of the longer dampers from the e34. Late E28 M5 swaybars and Powerflex bushings. The brakes are K-sport 330mm kit in front. This year the car got plastic windows, fiberglass dash, carbon door covers, new roof without the sunroof and K-sport rear breaks too. Other that stock S38B36, getrag 260 and a 188-diff with Gr.N 75% LSD with Z3M diff cover. Nice car :)
