What about John Locke? This guy is very underestimated. Although he was a Christian he really laid a foundation for deism with empiricism, and rationalism.

When I was little my parents took me to church every Sunday and to me back then religion didn't make sense. I have always believed in a god every since I can remember but that is all. Today I am 22 years old and I finally discovered the name of my beliefs.

@musiclover01ization an irreligious person can be agnostic, atheist or pantheist, panendeist or deist. There are many belief systems which can't be referred as religion.

@themidnightpiper Well, im deist and believe in Evolution. Basically I believe god created the Universe through scientific reasoning and just let it go and watch. So basically god may or may not know we exist. We dont go around prasing god or praying simply because we see that as too tyrannical to be a compassionate, loving god.

God created us to live, experience, and reason, not to bend down and worship him 24 hours of the day.
