@Hayamate - Sweet build man. I gotta '90 b21 and a T3/T4 sittin around, and I was wondering if you know where to get turbo manifolds for this? preferably keeping the power steering ; )

super!!!!

@THLteam Oh yeah. It does now. I swapped 3rd, 4th, and 5th gears from an Accord for much higher top speed.

@Hayamate - p.s. do you know what kind of pistons would be suitable for boost with the FRM cylinder liners on the b21? Or should I just look into building a b20a for boost? also what diffs fit in this wierd hybrid tranny? (I'm new to 3g ludes)

@yadidimeanmaine Turbo manifolds have increased in numbers since I built my engine. You can find them floating around PreludePower (dot) com. I don't think there are any that are mass produced yet though. Most of them will let you keep power steering, but not many will let you keep A/C. Mine is a Ludespeed and it is P/S compatible as far as I know (I don't use P/S anyway). As far as pistons go, I believe Mahle have specially-coated skirts that will resist the FRM lining.

@yadidimeanmaine In my opinion it would be a wiser decision to get a B20A5 block and have it bored out to 2.1 if you still want the extra displacement. It'll likely save you some money over getting special pistons, which are expensive even without the coating. Dealing with differentials, I'm not too sure what the kids are doing these days. I use an open diff myself because I don't really intend on having to launch from a stop. I did, however, rebuild the transaxle with longer Accord gears.

its that the stock b21??
vabo123 2 months ago
@vabo123 No, it's a Japanese B20A. Everything is stock internally except for forged pistons and a B21 exhaust cam.

what bov is that? and what all do you have for internals?

@awgdawg16 It's an H-RFL knockoff and I'm using Wiseco pistons at 9:1. That's it.
