Sunday Shoplifter

So this little dirtbag decides to liven up my Sunday afternoon. Considering the location of the incredibly obvious security camera, I think it's safe to say this guy's not graduating to "Crime of the Century" any time soon. At least I managed to save the Beach Boys and Doors box sets.

Worked at record/CD stores for many years and had my share of similar encounters with other dregs of society. I sure hope you had someone else watching the store while you took off after the greaser, easy way to lose a register drawer. Good bust though, and thanks for posting the video!

As I'm sure you can understand, of course this all took place while my staff member was out of the store on lunch. That's him at 3:00 coming in with his pizza! I couldn't chase the guy because of this, I could only stand in front of the store and watch which way he ran while on the phone with 911. Who were no help at all by the way!

i am all for big corp shop lifitng, but not small stores that really take the hit, thats just incredibly rude, they work hard for that.

That makes no sense moron. Big corps employ people also, just many more of them. stealing from big corps is the same thing. you are taking part of their profit that goes towards employing and paying more people and buying more merch to sell to employ and pay more people.
