Is wrestling "fake"? No, how do you fake a man doing a back flip off of a steal cage? Is it "scripted"? Yes, the wrestlers plan their matches out weeks in advance esp. for PPV events. They sit around a big table and discuss how a match will go or should go because really anything can happen, anyone can get hurt and if they screw up they could die. To bleed that's called a "gig" and yes that's real as well.

What wrestlers mean by "scripted" means is that wrestlers do what the crowd says. "Pre-determined" means whoever wins or loses is anybody's guess. Chris Jericho on ProWrestling Wiki says and I quote, "I hate the word 'fake'. The is nothing fake about what we do. It's all a pre-determined show." People who say that wrestling is fake are nothing but a bunch of skeptics. It's a real and actual sport in the ring. What's fake are wrestlers playing characters. It's both real wrestling, and showbiz!

Well, when people say wrestling is fake, you know that isn't what they mean. Why pretend it is? You know it's scripted, it's fake like a tv show. That doesn't mean it doesn't require a lot of hard work and athleticism. Nor does it mean that wrestlers don't risk injury and take real punishment. Quit pretending that isn't recognized by the people who unlike you are willing to acknowledge that they know it's fake.
