Roger Jacobi from the British Museum, has been visiting Manchester Museum for nearly forty years. He has spent this time studying the museum's internationally important cave collection form the last Ice Age.
In this conversation, Roger talks about the fluctuating climate of the last Ice Age and the wide range of animals that lived in Britain. Roger's recent work has involved dating the specimens to tie down when the climate changes occurred.
The museum has undergone many changes since he first visited. The conversation includes his memories of early visits.
