In Conjunto di NERO dance, lighting and sound play independent roles. Here once again it's about the friction between these elements while at the same time, each element influences the expression of the others.
In Conjunto di NERO (lit.: 'the conjunction of black'), darkness and mist mould and shape our perception of the five dancing bodies. The choreography plays a game of light and dark that is not limited to the physical appearance and disappearance of the dancers. It is a game that upsets the perception of depth, gravity and even sound. Visual distinctions become blurred, bodies vanish in the mist and seem to reappear in a different dimension. So, the denseness of the air shapes the darkness, the boundary between the tangible and the intangible, between movement and motionlessness.
