I was able to draw a lot of conclusion from this film as Egypt and Pakistan face the same kind of problems. Struggle between rich poor, rural and urban sex politics etc, I think it was a bold attempt by any standard to portray the bitterness and the decay which Egyptian society is going trough and this transation is not limited to Egypt but universal, reminds me of Naguib Mahfouz and of course he is referred in the beginning of the film as well.
