Pastor my heartbeat is that you use your medium to extol the believers to love God in plenty,in lack,in peril,in persecution,in joy,in sorrow.I will end with Habakkuk 3:17-18,"Even though the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.".Shalom

and they multiplied in thousands. They were not all rich. They had so many poor people. So money is not an issue here. The altar and the gift at the altar, which one is more important, the temple and the gold in the temple, which one is of high value? It is the presence of God in the altar that sanctifies the gifts. The gift doesn't make the altar more of an altar than it already is.Just like the gold in the temple doesn't make it the temple,it is God who dwells in the temple who makes it the temple.

Satan needed Jesus' access to bread before he could endorse him as the Son of God.Don't we preach same today in churches? It is good and needful as long as we live on earth, but Jesus warned us to be careful about material success and money so sternly in the bible that you cannot overlook it.Success can get into one's head and lead him away from God.The early church recorded in the book of Acts had everything in common ,shared everything they had together

We use prosperity as a bait to fill our churches, little wonder we have carnal men/women profaning the name of the Lord.I find it disappointing Pastor that you made a 5 minutes video to debate about prosperity. You could have used this video to preach the eternal gospel that is able to save a soul.I don't think that prosperity is an issue in our calling.Just like what satan tempted Jesus with,"If you are the Son of God.In other words,if you are of God,you should not lack bread(Material prosperity

but still died(both physical and spiritual death). The manna in the desert represented the material provision, the bread from heaven stands for the word of God.What is wrong with the gospel of today is that we preeach the Jesus who gives us prosperity. That is a bad sale of the gospel,it is of the devil.Of course the world will accept a Jesus that provides for them ,that gives them a good marriage etc.Is that the reason we should come to Christ?

They wanted to make him King.He had provided for their carnal need.Jesus was wary of them becuae he knew they were coming for the food they ate the previous day and he rebuked them sternly. He invited them to eat the Bread from Heaven. If they ate the bread of heaven they won't die.The bread from heaven is the Logos. The word of God,Jesus himself. When you feed your spirit and soul the logos ,YOU will not die(the second death). He told them that their fathers ate the manna from heaven but..

your preference will be to lose the world so you can gain your soul. There is something so wrong in today's church when we make material provision so popular and mainstream ,it shows that what Jesus foretold us about prophets in sheeps' clothing is here with us.Look at the story in John 6,when Jesus fed 4000 people miraculously. Now they were fed by Jesus remember. That was a divine provision, miraculous. But the next day,the Jews were looking for him early in the morning.
I appreciate your words. I have several videos on here and I was in an interview and prosperity was a question. I fully understood that 5 min could not adequately be used to debate, but I was answering a question that was posed to me. After reading all of your comments I'm sure we agree more than you may realize. Also I encourage you to view all of my videos and see if you still feel the same way. I'm still a work in progress, but my greatest desire is to uplift the Kingdom of God. Be blessed.

Just pray and ask God to lead you into the truth of the scriptures. Not preaching like these false apostles who take the word WAY out of context. No credible bible scholar, theologian, reformer or great man of God in history ever preached this stuff. It came from the 1900's, meaning its new, meaning it has strayed from what men in the last 2000 years have been preaching. Beware of new doctrines. This is not the Gospel, read 1cor:15, and gal 3. The gospel brings you to Jesus not stuff

If after listening to my thoughts on prosperity, you still think I am focused on stuff or believe prosperity equals material things solely; than either I communicated ineffectively or you just weren't listening with an open mind.

No where in my writings did I say that it was about stuff. I said this will lead you astray from the truth. It is not biblically sound and not 1 again not 1 reputable bible scholar, theologian, reformer, or Martin Luther, Calvin, Spurgeon, Scroll, etc.....None of them preached this garbage, but they did mention it as heresy and the whole church seemed to agree. So again, it is not Sound Doctrine and it is not the Gospel. But it is good comedy to hear it preached, because it is so out there!

You said and I quote " the gospel brings you to Jesus not stuff" How soon we forget. Besides the idea of commenting on a video is to comment on what the person in the video said. you keep talking about what other people teach and preach. I wish you would comment directly on what I said and not talk about other peoples heresy. Im not sure you even listened to the video.

Principles create prosperity. It is very possible that those people are living under governments with very bad principles. As American Christians living in the most prosperous nation on the earth; it is our duty to help our fellow Christians around the world. You can't do that effectively if you are poor yourself. The Bible tells us to take care of the poor. So there will be the poor but also God's word does have principles in it to help people rise above poverty, if they so desire.
