The Saga of Malmortis and Rohe, part 1: +0 Fire Resist

So, like many WoW players recently, I, on my DK, made a new friend named Malmortis.

Normally, the npc Malmortis doesn't leave his little home in Voltarus in Zul'drak but for those of us who happened to do his quest after patch 4.1, he was suddenly everywhere we were.

No one could see him but us. He would attack mobs, but they wouldn't even acknowledge his existence. Any AOE would kill him, but he would reappear every time.

The glitch was that somehow the system registered him as a pet and thus spawned him whenever we logged in, zoned in, or dismounted until we summoned a different pet. I kept him around for an entire month just for the entertainment value. :D
