To see photos of the statue, please go to the following website: http://www.slide.com/r/xwpXUQz16D_Qyhuf2fS96Pey4P5YmOcn?previous_view=mscd_em.... The following information is based on Porphyrygrampus' personal research. This is a video of the Addolorata, Our Lady of Sorrows, who has the end chapel on the right in Santa Maria Maggiore, Ispica SE Sicily. The video was taken by handicapped 24yr old Domenico Di Martino during the annual Procession of Our Lady of Sorrows on Sunday of September 18, 1994, with his new TV video camera. Several other parishioners noticed the statue closing eyes during the procession. He was amazed by what he saw, showed it to the parish priest & finally there was a broadcast on Sicilian TV about it (this is an extract) & an article in the daily La Sicilia. Antonino cd be the autistic Mexican boy reported to have heard the Virgin speak to him saying she was closing her eyes so as not to see the sins of this world. The broadcast spoke about him, saying he had improved enormously.

Thank you Porphyrygrampus for the information and photos regarding the Addolorata of Santa Maria Maggiore.

  • So the Virgin Mother of Jesus Christ the Lord and Saviour of the Human Race comes to Earth, and does what? Blinks. Wow.

  • @Bkeytx I get what you're saying to but if they really do believe in what they saw and if this, by some miracle, is real and not fake, why not let them hope?

  • Wow that's amazing look closly how she moves her mouth I love virgin mary :) aswell as god and jesus may they take my soul within them and take me to heaven the freedom land of peace ;)

  • @TheWitchOfMiracles Then they have actually lost Hope in Christ then, if they have to find artificial hope, I fully understand what your saying, and I know that people want to see some sort of hope, but this isnt the way to do it.

For me, because I know all the Bible Scriptures that discuss things like this, I would bet anyone that the statue has been hollowed out, and somethings inside making this "Miracles". Ive seen these before, and owner charge people to see it, scam

  • @Bkeytx Maybe it's better that way. Even if it is false hope, it's still something precious to give them the faintest hope. I don't think they want to die in hate or hopelessness.

Though it would be really something if it's rock hard statue and not mechanical.

  • oh come on how fake.

  • @mcslowlife I do not live in fear of damnation for I know that I am saved. I live in the glory of God and thus I am not motivated by fear, I am motivated by my love and by carrying on his message I am a better person and I make others better for it as well. If you cannot see any of his proof or gifts I feel so sad for you knowing that you will never know peace and I want you to remember that while you go through your sad lonely life, I want you to know that I pray for you, God bless.

  • @policechaser Jesus never once has asked me to praise his name in private or to keep it a secret, it's actually quite the opposite, maybe you need to read up on the subject before you open your mouth and prove just how ignorant you are. Fro this point on I shall not waste my time with the simple lost mind of yours. May God bless you.

  • I bet you those eyes are mechanical, its so sad so many poeple are dieing to believe, that they will believe anything thats shown to them.
