I figured this was a creative title - since most of the footage centers around bridges. I'm sorry if you wanted to see all of the trains - but some of them were absolutely crawling, especially across the Rockville Bridge. I started my day at the old Reading Bridge, in Harrisburg, PA - got to see a NS freight cross the bridge. Then I went to the Sherman Creek Viaduct and the old PRR Duncannon station in Duncannnon, PA where I saw 4-5 NS freight trains. After that, I hit the Rockville Bridge, just north of Harrisburg - where I saw numerous trains. However, due to (what I imagine is a speed restriction) the trains absolutely crawl over the bridge. I cut down an hour of footage into this short video. Enjoy, comment, favorite it, subscribe, don't forget to watch my other videos!

  • is the spot at duncannon legal to railfan at

  • @PaulPeirceFan I believe so. It's now the office for "Blue Ridge Communications" - there were no signs regarding trespassing, no fences up, and nobody said anything to me when I was there (I'm not sure there was anyone there at all at the time).

  • Not every train crawls over Rockville. My channel has some scenes of hotshot COTCs flying over Rockville. There is a signal at the east end of the bridge that controls the wye to the Buffalo Line north and Harrisburg Yard south, so if its headed either place it will be going slow...nice vids and love your channel!

  • Nice video! I love those bridges....just included them in my own video a few days back...Harrisburg is a real cool city!

  • VERY GOOD VID!

    BRIDGES ARE ALWAYS INTERESTING!

  • thanks for the nice video..i LOVE seeing those beautiful bridges...harrisburge was a steel mill fairway back in the day...imagine how it was....

  • If I'm not mistaken, I believe the Norfolk Southern line going across the Reading Bridge and into Harrisburg runs right through the campus of Messiah College, where I went to school. It was always so cool to see the trains roll by as I walked to class, especially because I'm a huge railroad enthusiast.

  • hahaha how did a P&W unit get in that mix?
