  • @Jctotallyrocks To calm you down so you don't run screaming from the video of a giant, stinging insect? XD

  • they certainly have a "stay away from me" look to them don't they? it's on a mission to find a snack and seems fine with the cold

  • Looking at the easy, headlong "gait" of that insect, I think I can safely state that that is a confident opportunistic predator. That critter is looking to sting something and eat it.

  • That's why I mentioned it looked like frost. Yes, some parts of Florida get frost in the hard winter months. Cold like that would not kill an insect, but just slow it down. I really like wasps. They are cool insects and velvet ants are particularly intriguing as they have no wings. We have both the red red and yellow VA's in Texas and Oklahoma.

  • @CombineWizard well i hate to disapoint you there but thats sand... i live in central florida and i can garuntee you that is sand, and you must be from somewhere up north and have never been here in the winter because its quite common for there to be frost in the morning in mid winter. last winter the temperature went below 30 at its coldest point. theres no doubt that this is central florida

  • step on it and it will look up at you and say " do it again and ill open a can 'o whoopass"

  • oh yeah baby...oh yeah...yes..u r so tight baby..yes...oh yeeeessss...

  • Central Florida? It looks like frost on the ground!

  • @qball1084 I know, it was my rather sarcastic comment.

  • @BloodOfTheBane no the ones without wings are the females and they sting the ones with wings are the male and don't sting
