isn't death note more like a prequel to 1985 in tone? the whole concept of Kira seems to be the same as "Big Brother is watching you"

that was great! better than the movie 8D and i just finished reading the BB Murder Cases book ... and i'm in more in love with L than ever xD too bad he died =( but I still love Near!!!! :DDDD

i think Naoki Urasawa's Monster is a better equivalent of Watchmen than Death Note
