1 Leg Squat with a neutral spine - Mike Boyle style. Great glute, quad exercise.

You can hold some light weights in your hands to make it easier to keep your heel down and torso more upright.

  • my knee goes forward too much if i try to do them without holding onto the fence.i have big bony pointy knees and my ankles are skinny i guess.my feet are huge though.i'm just not structurally set up to do them this way.not everyone is,plus,i am no lightweight!

    i get good range of motion doing em my way.i go into knee lockout with every completed rep.you cant tell because i'm leaning back so much in order to put my body into favorable positioning to take stress off my knee.
