Two-thirds of the women in India continue to be illiterate to this day. A nation's prosperity cannot be decided on the basis of overall economic growth alone. This film captures the initiatives taken for educating hard working, family oriented women in rural India. Scenes from such gatherings takes the viewer straight to the crowd that has gathered for an evening session of learning in the village.

This is the entry from Abhay, Sakhsi and Tarini from Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Delhi in the Creating Happiness film competition, that documented the changes brought by Vedanta's community initiatives. This movie was shot at Hindustan Zinc in Rajasthan.
