Awful Games - Platoon NES (level 1 beaten)

It's not really that bad as a game, it's just very hard. You go mindlessly around a maze killing people in Vietnam. The problem with this is that your player frequently gets hit because the enemies respawn within a second of walking off the screen. If you manage to work out what the hell you're supposed to do you might get past level 1. Then it turns into a really hard 1st person shooter which has much uglier graphics than level 1. I can't speak for the rest of the game as I never got past that point but I bet it wouldn't have been any better. Even so, I wouldn't say it's one of the worst games ever, but it does suck.

yo i remember getting mad about this game, and not being able to get anywhere for a hot minute. me and a homey used to laugh about the noise you would make when you got shot "ehhhh" i remember a few times i was killin it though. but the shit was boring than a mug...the game was not that tight, contra was a good game. this? not so much.

LOL, that game sucked, but that vietnamese guy coming out of the water with a knife was pretty damn creepy, I'd have no choice but the give the game a cool point for that.
