@xLantzAlotx Who gives a flying fuck. A marine or a soldier. Guess what they fight for the same god damn thing. In the end if a marine says ya i'm the best, normal my response is and i still get paid the same. durp.

thanks a lot, this helped. fuck the haters, and screw the marines who think they're the "best" and most "elite," thats simply not true. no real soldier believes that his branch is "better" than another, all that "my branch is better than yours" is horseplay, its fooling around. no real soldier takes it to heart. all soldiers are on the same side, defending the same freedom.

Infantry OSUT lasts usually 16 weeks. 9 weeks of entry training (like the 13 for USMC Boot camp) and then another 7 weeks of Infantry school. The only difference is the boot camp length.

your army and marines infantry length comment made no sense man... army's infantry is oust for 14 weeks thats including basic and ait for infantry. marine go to 13 week boot camp.... then... they go to SOI for another 56 days... thats 7 weeks longer or training for a marine to become and infantry marine. its 14 weeks total for an army soldier to become infantry. its not just as hard or just as long. not even close. your dads boot camp as a marine must have been a long time ago man

@MrDavidPenwell No offense man, but I dont like marines, they think their so much better. I know they have MCT then SOI, and I knwo their basic is lot harder, and yeah my dad was a marine in the 90's. This generation of Marine is nothing like it used to be bro.
