well having brian in to make an album right after highway to hell, kept momentum and fans, and stopped ac/dc from being one of those bands that a niche few people remember. So many bands nowadays, im talking the 90s to now, waited too long to replace the dead, missing member of the band, and their replacement wasnt able to become legendary like brian did. like pantera, alice in chains, quiet riot, and none of these bands r anything compared to dc.

Best ACDC Song Ever Long Way To The Top a Bon Scott Song his the man :) and he was really popular in Australia but i love Brian Johnson but with out Bon Scott there is no AC/DC
-
I think they coped the same Metallica did with Cliff Burton. Just move on, try to put it out of your head, play your ass off and get that emotion out. AC/DC
-
Let me put this right
@ poopyguy1694 Go see Bon's video's with AD/DC he made AC/DC as the front man. Having said that Angus has always & will be the greatest for pure clean Rock N Roll
Bon was a PARTY animal PERIOD.
The documentary has it WRONG
AC/DC was BIG time in the UK with thousands of followers even b4 Bon died
YES they were a pub/small concert/University band
WHY ?? Cause there was no where else to play in them days.
Them places used to be packed when they were around
I know I was there

brian was is the better frontmen but bon was also amazing

Without Bon, we wouldn't have Brian Johnson!

@resqfireman Thanks for the reply. I believe Bon drank a whole lot more than what you suggested. Apparently Bon had been in a local pub for most of that day drinking heavily with friends. Bon was well-known to drink to extreme levels - in much the same way as John Bonham - drummer with Led Zeppelin used to do before he too died.
Bon, I believe choked on his own vomit sometime that night while lying on his back in a car. Hypothermia could have played a part in his demise - although never proven.
-
@scumgod13 Actually he was in the front passenger seat of the car, with the seat laid back. He did choke to death, but I also believe that hypothermia was a factor, as it was freezing cold in London that evening.

@starryian007 As a firefighter/EMT, we deal with deaths every year that result from drinking, and passing out asleep in the cold here in southern Idaho. I believe that hypothermia was definitely a factor. Plus, Bon also had asthma as well. Really, 4 quadruple Jack and Cokes wasnt that much for a hardened drinker like Bon. But at least he gave us 5 good years of music that will never die.
I thought it made perfect sense to carry on as quickly as possible.
