This is the Coast Salish Anthem, also known as "The Prayer Song" or "The Journey Song", it is often played at funerals,to help guide a persons spirit on their journey to the spirit world. It has also been played for people who are going on a long journey, it is a prayer to keep them safe. Usually it is played with a dr...um, but I thought I'd make up some chords to go along with it. I almost understand where your coming from...however sacred songs shouldnt be changed..the original is from Chief Dan George. No disrespect however no one has the right to change someone elses song unless they are from that family and have permission
