@latajohnny Archaology proves that thousands of years before the incas the astronomy, architecture, medicine, agronomy, etc. of nations like Caral, Moche, Chavin, in nowadays Peru were much much older and advanced than anyone of nowadays territory of Ecuador. So the incas learned from other nations but not from the ones of nowadays Ecuador but from dozens conquered by them in what is now Peru. No ruins in Ecuador are that refined and developed as the dozens you find all over Peru.

The Incas were unable to defeat the union of the two major kingdoms of Ecuador . The Caras in the North and the Canaris on the South. That is why they arrange a wedding with a Ecuadorian princess. That is how the Incas were able to conquest Ecuador. However, instead of changing their customs, the Incas learned the Ecuadorian culture and astronomy since is was much much advanced.

Atahualpa era un pobre arribista hijo ilegitimo de Huayna Capac. Todos los incas fueron cusqueños. Es mas, a Atahualpa ni siquiera se le debio considerar Inca porque usurpo el puesto de Huascar, AUQUI, hijo legítimo y heredero del Imperio... ASi que MAY!!!
