I want to get rid of my negativity and anger. I was wondering if you knew how to deal with that. Is that best done by someone else to me or by myself. It's something I've always wated to be rid of, but never could. It's like there are two sides of me, and I just want to cut out the dark spots.

I've never done either. I'm a bit confused though. When would you do a binding? Can you give a specific example? Woudl it ever be a good idea? Or would you only do Banishings?

Since bindings change the natural energies of whatever it is you are planning on binding...it will change the properties of it. I don't recommend doing them. Examples are...hindering a persons harmful words or actions to you. If you banish, that person will go away from your life...if you bind...there words could change and not for the better. another example is binding healing energy to a wound...but with each binding you are constricting the energies. Does this help?

Banishing powder :

Salt,

Black Pepper,

Cayenne or Habanero Pepper,

Sulfur

Combine equal amounts of each of the powders and grind together into a fine powder. DO NOT SPILL THIS IN YOUR HOME OR ON YOU! sprinkle this in the persons shoes, on their door step or at their desk if at work. this will work quickly and it is a good idea to charge each ingredient as you mix and maybe a ritual to tie it to a specific person to safe guard others. This has been use to close down a business when misused. :)

I have heard so much about bindings here lately and I have to say that I disagree with most of them. You can use bindings and not have to use your energy. You can used the Earth's energy to bind someone and the binding can be permanent or temporary depending on your spell. However it is always good to banish the person from your life also but, never use your energy to do it though because in essence that also ties you to them. be sure to bind a specific energy as apposed to an entire person. :)

I heard you can do bindings with a sigil, but give offerings to whatever you're summoning so you have permission to bind it. Thus you can have it protect you and such, but it seems like some way advanced magick that I need to delve into more...

About binding, i have done 2 binding spells in my life, both went wrong. The firs one was a love binding, not good at all and in the end a harm full relationship. The thing is that I was bound to, it works two ways and the emotional binds are hard to brake.

The second was about a behavior a person in my life has, and it worked but it has some problems. He now cant be in public and get anxiety attacks, because his behavior is still there, he just cant express it.So that i have to brake.
