just a short clip of what my HypnoBirthing experience was like :) Note, the moaning was just a way to release the 'energy', not because of the pain (which I didn't experience at all)

  • thank you, glad you're doing some research on your own :) The 'drowning' concern comes to one's mind naturally, if they haven't thought through the logistics of birth. Your baby literally lives and breathes in water for 9 months. When the baby is born under water, he doesn't draw his first birth up until the moment he comes in contact with air. They get their O2 via cord from placenta. And most babies only stay under water for mere seconds. It's a wonderful gentle transition for babies :)

  • @4lifelinux nope it is not! but it is a fluid that is mostly water! So what's ur point? Baby's have reflexes that prevent aspiration of the water. They do recieve oxygen from maternal source through the umbilicus if the placenta is still attached. There is no way to know when it detaches however, so probably it is best for babies to brought up to mom's chest directly. The air hits the baby's face. It breaths. Life is good! Water has vasodilation effects which actually helps baby get O2

  • I gave birth like this. Except I did self hypnosis with a cd playing. I also work as a Midwife's assistant and wonder why the doppler was on so long...And if you turn it off before taking it out of the water it won't make that horrible sound. ..didn't appear to bother laboring mom though :) What a beautiful labor snip-it!

  • April 3rd? That's when I was born!

  • That woman talking was weirddd...

  • amniotic fluid is not water.

  • great vid...and great inspiration for ppl considering doing this method

  • it wont drown because the baby was still attached to the umbilical cord

  • wow.you sure made it look easy!!
