  • Seriously, Namco needs to release a compilation of their mid-90s arcade games (ala this, Cyber Cycles, Ace Combat 22, Rave Racer, etc). I reckon Wii controls would compliment each one (probably even Prop Cycle).

  • Ya!! Namco System 22 and System 23 games are awesome!! I want that Namco releases it on XBLA, PSN Store and WiiWare! ^__^

  • So does Sega.

  • Oh yes!! Model 3 games are so coool, awesome and marvellous!! :D

  • @skeleton081983 not forgetting system 21 :P

  • @HarlemHyena Of course I meant AD: Victory Lap

  • The only AC: Victory Lap I can find near me is at New Roc City. It's even a Twin Type! Did you know that there's a setting that lets players toggle force feedback to the seats, even making them swing as you turn?

New Roc City's the only place around here with a Ridge Racer cabinet as well, though the wheel's misaligned.

  • I remember seeing this game at the local arcade and thinking these were the most advanced graphics ever made. The game ran absolutely smooth at 60fps, and the cabinet moved sideways when you turned, the wheel was hydraulic and had a very strong pull. Awesome stuff.

  • Namco racers always had such good music, they had a proper ravey feel to them.

  • i would love to play this on my ipod. have emailed namco numerous times asking them to bring it to the itunes store. no joy so far.

  • man i used to play this at the arcades, the best rave (arcade) games ever made imo, along with daytona usa 2 and scud race. the cab i played this on even moved from left to right, first time playing this io finished first, guess all those coins on daytona 1 paid off. this was easier than daytona 1 imo, but probably harder than 2.

  • i really miss the VG music in the 90's

  • whats up with all the flickering looks like shit.

  • @MrDrakee Cyber Sled is on the Virtual Console but only in Japan.
