I watched them put those letters up, too. They junk up the building. They make the most recognizable building in the city of Pittsburgh a huge billboard. I hate upmc.

I wish they'd open the top of the building to the public again like it was in 2000, the beautiful view of Pittsburgh was AWESOME... can't do that anymore...

No building is complete without 4 letters on the top floors advertising a popular hospital

It actually looks nice from a distance when your in the Hill dist or the Southside

I wonder if Pittsburgh will ever have a taller building put up then the steelbuilding .... and i hope someday those 4 letters fall off ... lol without hurting anyone

Sick? Did somebody say sick? I think UPMC just made some money off of you.
I'm no big fan of the medical industry either, but it's only fair to acknowledge that UPMC has helped to make Pittsburgh a "leader" again. All of us who live here know that the USX Tower will always mean steel, and that's a source of pride. But a world-famous medical system is worth being proud of, too.
