One small step

A hommage to the first lunar landing, and all the people who made it possible.

I used material from HBO's series From the earth to the moon, as well as some material from IMAX Magnificent desolation. This material was then re-cut, and edited to depict a scene describing the first landing on the moon.

The sond effects of the switches, airlock & the landing thump, where all downloaded from the web, and then edited to fit the film. This is also the case with the astronauts voices, and the partial of Kennedy's speach.

I have taken liberties with the "time frame" of the landing.
A real landing took longer time. Also, the time frame of moon to ground communications is not accurate. I took these liberties to fit the film with the music.

The music used is Chevalliers De Sangreal by Hans Zimmer.

I am currently working on a project, but I am not sure if I will manage to have it ready in time for July 20th though... Maybe...

Yes, that is correct. If you see my details on the video, you will se that I have used footage from three different episodes of this series, and the IMAX film "Magnificant Desolation" to depict a lunar landing. My work has been purely editing. All the hard work has been done by professionals.

I used footage from the episodes "Is that all there is", "Miles and miles" and "Mare Tranquilitatis" From the series Earth To the Moon.
