Green Party candidate Cecile Lawrence speaks truth to power in Vestal

Cecile Lawrence, Green Party candidate for the U.S. Senate, spoke at the Town of Vestal Library in upstate NY on Wednesday, June 30, 2010. The Jamaican-born supporter of single-payer healthcare and financial reform discusses why the Green Party is a viable alternative to the Democratic and Republican parties, how it is a more true representative of ordinary individuals rather than corporations. She also warns against hydraulic fracturing, a/k/a hyrdrofracking, a dangerous form of extraction of natural gas that may ruin the water supply of New York State.
