You have the "conservative thinker" who by definition aims to conserve the status quo (no thought needed actually) or you have the "liberal thinker" who is everyone else. Liberal thinkers will consider ALL other possibilities and then fine tune them by eliminating the ridiculous by the use of reason. Society evolves as a result of the liberal thinkers but is retarded by the conservative thinkers.

Beck didn't talk about a religion in particolar. It's message was: turn to God and live (but he didn't say what God).
