I have noticed if you are calm, not fighting too much or making them sign more then one of you own items they will sign. Also waiting for the right times when no one else is around is always good. I once waited for testing to end and most people left and caught up with Dale Jr and he signed my flag.

You know Dale isn't obligated to do anything. If he doesn't feel like signing its fine, Its not the end of the world. I'm sure he gets tired of it. Everywhere he goes he gets mobbed by fans wanting him to sign memorabilia. He's a regular human being, not just Dale who races cars. I don't blame him for just trying to salvage what peace and privacy he still has. Its hard to have a normal life when you live that kind of life style. Let him miss a few autographs. Why not. Put yourself in his shoes.

Thanks for all the comments. To dalejr8fan01: I never meant to imply that he's a dick at all. Afterall, I did get both of my jerseys signed by him that day. We were behind the fence, and he still got mobbed even though only people with garage passes are allowed in. I was SOOO happy he signed my jerseys for me. JPM IS a prick.
