Fair enough. I worked at a peugeot dealership and am now a part-time motorcycle journalist, and have tried a lot of stuff in the last 3-4 years.. I think we need a video of the 125 compressor accelerating so we can compare. My guess is that it'll need atleast 1 sec more to 100kmph then the 500, and the 100-130kmph would be probably a lot more.

Well, I'm not going to belabor the point, dbauernf. As said, I haven't done any real tests, so I'm simply offering impressions based on a single ride of each (don't own either).
But I can safely say both accelerate quicker then my Satelis 125 4V Executive (the non-compressor version). However, since I'm not much of a speed demon, the acceleration on mine is quite satisfactory - enough to occasionally surprise a few drivers of weak cars trying to beat a measly 125cc leaving a stoplight.

The compressor is lighter, that could give it some edge off the line, but I seriously doubt it would make much of a difference since we're talking _TWICE_ the power on the 500. Simple math. Reviews also compare the 125 compressor to the standard 250, and that makes sense since they have the same power. Also, most reviews of the Jetforce 125 compressor compare it's performance to 200-250cc scooters like the runner or derbi gp1, which, AGAIN, is perfectly reasonable - same weight/power.
i have the 500ccm my dad have the 400ccm and i can say the performence from the 500ccm is better!! cheaper haha 5 € in a jear*g
but more fun and speed with the 500ccm

@kruder200 The difference is rather small, but very noticeable above 100km/h, but I preferred the 400cc engine on the Geopolis 400 (also a Piaggio MASTER engine) for it's smoothness and less noise.

True.. but I actually prefer the 400cc version, quiet, smoother, less vibes etc.

400cc version is cheaper about insurance.
400cc performances are almost the same to 500cc version

Well that depends on where you live. Insurance, registation all other fees are the same here for everything from 250 to 500cc so it doesn't really matter. As for performance, yeah, it's very close, and the Geopolis 400 I tried was as fast as the Satelis 500 up to about 60-65mph (100km/h+), but when overtaking at speeds over 60, it's evident that the 500 has a lot more torque. Also, I've had _same_ gas mileage with 400 and 500.
