I've been pretty impressed with what the Dell Mini 9 is capable of since I got it a few days ago. While it can't play a lot of HD video, it's been able to do everything else. On a whim I decided to give World of Warcraft a try. I didn't want to bother with installing the game, and wasn't sure if it would even work so I just shared my World of Warcraft folder on my MacBook Pro and ran it on my Mini 9 over WiFi.
Dell Mini 9 Stats:
1.6Ghz Intel Atom Processor
Intel GMA950 Chipset
2GB RAM
64GB Runcore SSD
1024x600 LCD (Running WoW at this resolution.)
ive been wanting to do the same thing and was wondering about rdc performance.
i have a 2600k desktop but need mobility for work and a cheap solution. would i tbe better to sell the desktop to buy a laptop or just buy a netbook and remote connect to my desktop?

But, is it running the game on the Dell with files on the MBP or is it running in the MBP and streaming the image to the Dell?

Performance would be better if you installed it on your Runcore for sure.
