The originators of the modern minivan are playing catch-up. This update to the Chrysler Town & Country improves the engine, interior, and handling but still ultimately falls short of the best minivans. @TJC450 don't external antennas give better reception? my mom's old civic (well 2008) didn't have one and my dad's truck always managed to get radio in areas she couldn't.

@sheikra1000 Continuing my thought, I generally do 22-24 mixed driving hitting way too many redlights. This thing hauls well, loaded with 6 people and I have never had an issue with heavy mountain driving. When it is just me, I can really make it go, and can take a hard curve at easily over 55 mph. I'm not mean enough to subject passengers to a test.

@sheikra1000 especially good when you get on oddysey forums to find out that people are not getting the great promised 28. People have to face it, these are big heavy vehicles that do pretty well overall considering their impressive performance. If you take any vehicle on roads flat and straight near the coast, expect much better gas consumption compared to rolling highway. I know I avged 34 in the T and C that way.

@OfficialRugby no....ford and gm quit making vans to focus on their crossovers...that are making minivans disappear!
