  • I was diagnosed when I was 24 after having a stroke. It's very hard to live with. I'm trying to push for heart transplant but we'll see.

  • @illbringthebeers Tell your friend to never give up! I have had cardiomyaphetie for 13 years now,and I am still here.But tell her to be careful with sugar as we more easily develops diabetes,like I have done.

  • @dimitra29 I know what you are going throu.I was diagnosed with cardiomyaphetie in 1998,but I am still here...Tell Elias to not give up,but enjoy and live every day as it was the last one.This might sund hash,but that is what I had too learn.It does not mean that you have too die at a young age.I am thinking about you and praying for Elias.Never loose hope!

  • i was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy 5 years ago and still on meds but am coping, my 14 yr old daughter has just been diagnosed with early signs and they are starting her on ace inhibitors. i was 35 when diagnosed.
