Sadly with those two specific cases nothing else worked unless we went into bark collars.
we tried obedience where they would go to "place" when the bell rang however owner non compliance made it no use.
We had to go to water pistols because the whole family would be more consistent to squirt the dog than to grab them and bring them to "place"
Sadly although I like the dog to work with a positive method the owners pretty much make you have to switch to compulsion methods.
