PART 10

Next morning, I wake up like I did the previous day, but this time when I went over to Selena's house, her mom told me she already left for school, ok then I guess she didn't want to ride with me...I hop inside my car, and it feels sort of empty without someone in the passenger seat but I ignore the feeling and just head to school. I pull up in the diner parking lot, and get out of my car, taking my ragged backpack with me. Inside, I see Selena talking with Miley and Demi, so she ditches me to talk to them, probably a girl issue? I see Nicole pass by and she smiles at me, well you can describe that moment awkward! I decide to head to first period, maybe I'll catch up with Selena during lunch. In science, I try to get Selena's attention by whispering her name. Apparently, I'm whispering too loud and the teacher tells me to shut up. The class laughs and Selena just pays attention to the notes on the board, tell me what I did wrong?

During lunch, I see Selena sitting alone at a different table instead of ours. I decide to sit with her, but then Miley, Emily and Demi come so that's a definite no to sit with them. I stand and I for the first time no one is talking about me, or maybe they got better at whispering. I see Joe motioning me to come sit with him, Chelsea,Taylor and Lucas. Just to be clear, they are a big whole group of populars, but they also have like cliques. Like there's Joe, Chelsea, Taylor L., and Cody that have a little group. And then there's Miley, Emily, and Demi, and also Kevin, Nicole, Taylor S., and Lucas. I hesitantly go to their table and sit with them. I look at all of them, then look down at my food. "Dude you're acting as if you're a lost puppy, cmon man it's just us," Cody says.
"Yea, but isn't it at least a little awkward having me eat with you guys again?" I ask looking up.
"Not really, you're our friend no matter what man," Joe replies.
"And know that we'll always be here for you," Taylor explains.
"Thanks guys," I tell them smiling.
"So I hear you and Selena Gomez hang out often," Chelsea changes the subject.
"What does it matter to you?" I ask her eating a french fry.
"Well...," she begins,"It's weird how she's the one that's been able to get you to reveal your feelings."
"How is it weird?" I ask again.
"'Cuz you like her!!" Joe accidently blurts out and the whole cafeteria begins to stare at us.
"Damn man chill!" Taylor tells Joe.
"Look Selena is just another friend that so happened to become my friend" I calmy explain.
"Sure sure sure...," is all Chelsea says and begins to eat again.

-----SELENA'S P.O.V-----

I sit there looking at Nick and Joe, who are they talking about anyway? Before I turn back to Demi, Emily, and Miley, I see Taylor wink at me, and suddenly I blush out of nowhere, I can tell I'm really red because Taylor smiles at me in a "you're cute when you blush" way.

"So wait, you like Taylor now?" Emily asks me confused.
"What? NO!" I reply turning back to them.
"Selena, it's pretty obvious he just winked at you," Demi tells me.
"So...plus, I don't like anybody," I say crossing my arms.
"You just told us how confused you are about Nick," Miley says.
"Oh I did? I didn't notice...," I say.

Oh great, Emily, Miley, Demi, Jake, and my mom all think I like Nick. How is it possible to not like him when the people in your life are telling you that you do like him? I look at Nick, and all these different feelings start running around inside me. I start noticing details about him that I didn't notice before. His chocolate brown eyes, his dark brown curls, the way he smiles when Joe just squirted milk out of his nose, omigod Selena, you have got to get a hold of yourself, I absolutely CANNOT fall in love...again. I think he sees me looking at him from the corner of his eye, and suddenly my stomach fills with butterflies. Holy crap I've got to keep myself from liking him, that won't be easy.

i completely love this series and i hope you make more i must know what happens because selena likes nick but she doesnt want to however nick likes selena but he wont admit it to himself. and you know he does because he's sad that she is ignoring him
