GOOD!
That's what good art is all about... interpretation!
The main point of this video is expressive art. It says: our reactions to the expressiveness of others often says more about ourselves than it does about them. And yes, I mean me too!
Over the past few months, I have received some pretty strange comments and messages about this video. By strange I mean ignorant. Example? Sure! For one, the soundtrack is not "That evil Damien (or The Omen) music". I cannot express how much that pains me. The music is called Carmina Burana, by Carl Orff. The libretto (lyrics) were written by monks over the centuries, struggling to understand (much of the time falsely) what secular life outside the monastery must be like. I will publish the link to ALL the lyrics of the entire symphony here, at the end of my diatribe.
Conversely, that "2001, A Space Odyssey" music you hear on CBN that sounds so triumphant and grandiose? That's known as "Also Sprach Zarathustra" by Richard Strauss, inspired by the book by Friedrich Nietzsche, wherein the title character (of Greek mythical history) announces that "God is Dead".
Apparently, turn-about is fair play for Jack Van Impe, so I decided to do the same thing.
I have also been asked some dumb, sanctimonious questions by well meaning Christians, such as streetpreacher. Just because I say I believe in God in some way, some people assume that must mean exactly as they do. It's a big old world out there, and it's not my problem if you're too afraid or myopic to see all of it. Jesus was a Jew, as were his kin and most of his contemporary followers, just live with it.
As for the subject matter:
Years of collecting Bible tracts which I accept graciously from proselytizers have led up to this... for what it's worth.
There is an amazing range of manipulation and applied psychology in the world of Christian propaganda. Some of these deal with an end to the world that never actually happened. Y2K, and the Korean cult of October 28, 1992 are 2 such examples.
This is just a small sample, with my own personal spin intentionally thrown in there for subjective balance.
I was very emotionally scarred (and scared) by these well meaning pamphlet pushers as a youth, and now it's my turn. Deal with it.

Here are the promised lyrics to Carmina Burana. See if they in anyway resemble your life:

In other words, folks: Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you, so don't forget to stock up on a hefty supply of God, just in case! Leave rationality for those "rational" people YOU know the ones I mean!

Haha, stop being so pretentious: "That's what good art is all about... interpretation!"
That's not what makes good art (if it were, I'd just throw shit on the wall). Also There's no interpretation needed here, it's all pretty obvious. Also, you're stretching it by calling this art...in any case, I find these things interesting, and I wish you could have scanned those tracts in their entirety. Oh, and the fact that CBN uses a song inspired by Nietzsche is hilarious.

The use of the word "pretentious" in any critique is, by definition, pretentious. I was being what's called facetious.
It IS art. Imitating life. Imitating Elvis.
