  • Tip. Create the Button at Power Point and then open the file with gimp and make it a transparent background. Great tips though thanks.

  • This is easier to create buttons with no doubt about it. Though GIMP would be very easy to use to erase any unwanted background and give it a transparent background. Then you could use the button regardless of website background color.

    I've been using another method to make buttons for my website, and this looks much much easier. GIMP is good for some things, but for simple and excellent looking website elements like this, Powerpoint is the way to go!
