2 points, the Orange costs about 1/3 of the Marshall. Being a budget amp, they also come with some pretty crappy tubes. When I retubed mine, it was like a whole new amp. And at the price point, an amazing value. Plenty of mods out there for it as well.
Both sound great. Different sounds though. The Orange sounds... like an Orange. People who like that will dig the tone. People who like a Marshall sound will prefer the Marshall.

The Orange sounds much more nasally to me. The Marshall cuts through the mix much better in a band situation in my opinion.

Great video BigdaddyDishrags,,, I have to side with the Marshall but in saying this, it's like comparing apples and oranges,no pun intended. There two different animals. Yes that orange cab is fantastic but the t.t. is not a jcm 800 by any means. Bigdaddy i'm not telling you this, you know already. Just explaining to some of the younger crowd that may not be familiar with the inner working of both amps. I would love to hear the jcm 800 throught the orange cab, that would be cool. Nice vid
