Adam Parker shares his track for Smart Man at a time we may need it most. While the media spend their time dissecting our current political leaders, Adam Parker reminds us that we need action. This sentiment resonates with melodic scorn throughout this outstanding debut track. There is an equally menacing video to accompany too which includes, a cheeky animated gremlin, Big Ben and Adam, himself, looking like one of them.

It has been an organic rise for this London based singer/songwriter. Adam Parker first burst onto the music scene in the US back in 2008 after acclaimed house DJ Sasha heard a few tracks from his forthcoming album Call Me A Medic. Sasha instantly got in touch about featuring a remix of Adams track Highlife on the DJs Invol2ver album.

When I heard Adams record I knew I had to involve him in Invol2ver somehow. Adams talent for great melodies are just beautiful. My track with him has been a highlight from Invol2ver. DJ Sasha

Due to the success of the remix, Lowlife, they decided to release it as an EP complete with the original track and a new remix version last summer. The EP was released on underground dance label Renaissance and charted straight in at number 4 in the dance buzz charts.

With the collaboration success, Highlife received plays across numerous stations in the States and his My Space demos soon came to the attention of prominent DJ Jason Eldredge who championed his music at KCRW & East Village Radio. The impact was dramatic his My Space plays catapulted to nearly 3 million and propelled him into the top 3 of their unsigned artist chart.




Adam is recording his debut album in Denmark and London with producer and 2009 Grammy Nominee, Dyre Gormsen (for Jason Mraz's album We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things). His debut album Call Me A Medic will be released later this year, but whoever has the keys to No.10, vote where it counts for Adam Parker, a great new British artist.
