Lewton tracks Malachite to Rhodan's workshop, where he proceeds to learn...absolutely nothing, actually.

  • Was it spelled Mr. Sideney, or something or other? I think I spelt it incorrectly in my last comment.

  • @Esuerc It was spelt "Sideney" in the book, not sure if they went with the more conventional spelling for the TV film!

I don't really know why it was spelt that way. Because Sydney isn't a country on the Disc? I've no idea. :/

  • Nigel Planer? Didn't he play Mr. Sydney, or something or other, in the Hogfather movie adaptation?

  • @Esuerc Yes he did! He also played the Head Astrozoologist in the TV adaptation of The Colour of Magic, and he does the Discworld audiobooks for various parts of the UK (the other Discworld audiobook voice being Tony Robinson).

  • Thank you for this, it's been a real pleasure watching through again - haven't been able to play this game in years! It's especially nice since I was about 8 or 9 when I played this with my sister, and now, at 18, it's brilliant going back and seeing what I missed.

  • @VeronicanPlay it could be a guy i know nicknamed knuckles :-)

  • @VeronicanPlay I'd have to make the exception for Robert Llewllyn though, since I'm quite the Red Dwarf fan. ;)

  • @TheRussianGestapo I thought this was one of their more famous projects. :P

But no I don't think it is. I would also want to know more about what is really interesting me, than asking about all other things.

  • @VeronicanPlay It's one of life's little mysteries, certainly.

Is it embarrassing that, if ever I met any of the actors from this game, I'd want to know more about their time working on DWN than their more famous projects?

  • Of all the people I have heard voicing the characters, my guess at who is voicing Malachite is Rob Brydon. But of course it's just a guess so I can be wrong.
