He's an Elgar man but not a Mozart man. Goldie tells Paul Morley how he moved from Drum 'n' Bass DJing to being commissioned to write a seven-minute orchestral composition.

  • "The original composer, if he were alive today, would probably roll in his grave"

    Legend xD

  • OK, so he mathematically analyzed some composition (whether he was put up to this by someone else isn't specified). He still does not know how to harmonize and do a whole slew of other things that classical composers deal with regularly (whether they are well accepted & allowed to try their stuff out on large orchestras composed of folks who need to be paid). He went through this whole orientation at the expense of the BBC just because he is a $uccessful EDM producer.

  • Was a good interview and the show he talks about was on BBC 2 and was really good.

  • Awesome interview, great camera work as well. Nicely done guys.

  • Legend.
