@isra2eelsharrmoutlak and sorry dude but saz and bouzouki are in the same family, in syria and lebanon, we have a saz that we call it buzuk

@kamilierik tambura is turkish and setar is iranian. saz is not very popular in iran, much more popular in syria and turkey

@isra2eelsharrmoutlak Yes, but the greek bouzouki has become a guitar in the past ~70 years with it's new tuning and added strings, and it's well-tempered (fixed frets, like the western guitar). Some bouzouki players, who feel nostalgic of the quarter tones, add additional frets to the greek bouzouki.

for greeks saz is saz and bouzouki is bouzouki. there are totally diferent instruments! i'm greek and i play bouzouki and a little bit of saz and i can tell you for sure that the guy in the video is amazing saz player!
