@duke68012 florida doesn't offer this. however they DO have a guided tour of the train yard call 407-WDW-Tour for info

Only at Disneyland. The tenders at WDW are too close to the fire box door. The only engine you would probably have a chance of riding if it was offered would be the Roy O. Disney since she has the largest cab, and has the firebox at a safe distance away from the tender.

I did this too also in June 2007! 3 of them! All you have to do is ask the conductor at Main Street station and he'll ask the locomotives' crew. (as it is up to them wether or not they want tender riders)

@amtrakf40 Yes. You may have to wait an hour for one to come by you are able to ride on.
